The Springs is a mountainous luxurious hot spring retreat center located near the historic mining town of Idaho City surrounded by the Boise National Forest. This is an excellent destination to relax and enjoy delightful, steamy, and rejuvenating mineral springs in comfortable and tranquil forested settings.

This is a new resort constructed in 2013 and it is popular enough to get crowded during weekends and holidays. Reservation is required and can be made online. The pool and premises are accessible.

All ages are welcome on Saturday and Sunday. Monday, Thursday, and Friday are open for adults only. The Springs resort is closed every Tuesday for cleaning and maintenance.

The Springs Hot Springs Experience

Natural geothermal water flows out of the source into soaking tubs and the main pool. The main pool size is 80 by 40 feet with a temperature of 99°F during the winter months and 85°F in summer. The public round-shaped soaking tub is 16 feet in diameter with an average temperature of 105°F. The spring water steam room in the main pool area provides more opportunities to soak your stress away.

Poolside water stations at the main pool offer free cold spring water with lemons. So, bring your water bottle.

In the summer months, 16 jets of cold water on a splash deck add more water experience. One of the private tubs on per hour basis can be reserved.

Swimsuits are mandatory and little kids are required to have swimming diapers

The resort features relaxing background music and sometimes during summer even live music.

The resort has a cafe with freshly made soups, sandwiches, salads, and a variety of drinks including craft beer and wine. Resort staff routinely make walks around the property and are ready to bring you a drink without you leaving your comfortable soaking spot! Springwater and herbal tea are complimentary for resort visitors. Spa and massage services are also available but should be booked in advance.
