Mundo Hot Springs

Mundo Hot Springs is a beautiful geothermal oasis on the bank of the Weiser River
Features a large soaking pool and hot tub

Nestled just east of Cambridge, Mundo Hot Springs offers a laid-back escape. The pools are filled with soothing, mineral-rich water, and the open-air setting gives guests clear views of the surrounding mountains.

The hot springs were developed into a public soaking destination in 2012, and since then locals and travelers alike have enjoyed its welcoming, small‑town atmosphere.

Mundo Hot Springs Water & Soaking

Water comes out of the ground at roughly 160°F (71°C) and is routed to two outdoor spots. A large mineral pool, typically is kept around 102°F (39°C) and slightly cooler in summer. A smaller hot tub is hotter, around 106°F (41°C).

Fresh hot water continuously refreshes both pools, so no chemical treatment is needed. The large pool is drained and refilled weekly. Guests will notice clean, clear mineral water with a soft feel and little to no sulfur odor.

Swimwear is required, and the area has bathrooms, changing rooms, and showers.

Things to Do at Mundo Hot Springs

After a soak, the on-site bistro serves simple, satisfying fare including snacks, homemade soups, sandwiches, salads, and desserts—perfect for a mellow afternoon by the pool.

Mundo Hot Springs is an excellent base for outdoor recreation. The nearby Weiser River Trail offers hiking and biking along an 84-mile rail-trail that parallels the river and farmland.

You can enjoy fishing and gentle rafting on the river. Wildlife is easy to see, including birds of prey, ducks and geese, deer, and songbirds along the riverbanks.

Day trips are also fun. You can visit Hells Canyon, the deepest river gorge in the U.S., with lookout points, jet boat rides, and challenging hiking trails.
