• Mundo Hot Springs is a beautiful geothermal oasis on the bank of the Weiser River
• Features a large soaking pool and hot tub
Just two miles east of Cambridge, Idaho, Mundo Hot Springs is a peaceful geothermal oasis on the banks of the Weiser River.
This laid-back resort pairs mountain views with naturally heated, mineral-rich water for year-round soaking, all in a welcoming small-town setting with an on-site bistro.

Mundo Hot Springs Experience
Geothermal water emerges at about 160°F (71°C) and is piped to two outdoor soaking areas: a large mineral pool, typically around 102°F (39°C) and slightly cooler in summer for longer soaks, and a hot tub maintained near 106°F (41°C) for a toasty, therapeutic experience.
Fresh spring water continuously refreshes both pools, so no chemical treatment is needed. The large pool is drained and refilled weekly. Guests will notice clean, clear mineral water with a soft feel and little to no sulfur odor.
Swimwear is required, and the area has bathrooms, changing rooms, and showers.

Beyond the Hot Springs: Things to Do at Mundo Hot Springs
Mundo Hot Springs is an excellent base for outdoor recreation. The nearby Weiser River Trail offers hiking and biking along an 84-mile rail-trail that parallels the river and farmland.
Seasonal fishing and mellow rafting sections provide water-based fun, while wildlife viewing is common, with raptors, waterfowl, deer, and songbirds along the riparian corridors.
Day trips are easy, including Hells Canyon—the deepest river gorge in the U.S.—where you can enjoy viewpoints, jet boat tours, and rugged hiking.
After a soak, the on-site bistro serves simple, satisfying fare including snacks, homemade soups, sandwiches, salads, and desserts—perfect for a mellow afternoon by the pool.

Lodging and Camping at Mundo Hot Springs
Stay the night to stretch out your soak-and-explore time. Options include:
- Pool house and cabins: Simple, comfortable lodging steps from the water.
