One of the fantastic hot spring locations, just two miles east of the small city of Cambridge, Mundo Hot Springs offers a break from daily routines while relaxing in its mineral-rich hot water. The resort with a beautifully designed pool area sits on the bank of the Weiser River overlooking the mountainous valley with Council, Cuddy, and Hitts Mountains in the background.
The geothermal mineral water comes out of the spring at 160°F and is then piped into an outdoor pool and hot tub. The temperature in the pool is maintained at around 102°F and in the hot tub at 106°F. The water in the pool is kept cooler in the summer. Because the water in both the pool and the spa is continuously replaced, chemical treatment is not required. The large pool is drained, cleaned, and refilled every week.
Besides bathing in the naturally-heated water, Mundo Hot Springs offers hostel-style packages for lodging and camping. The bistro is the landmark feature of the retreat, particularly for the snacks, homemade soups, sandwiches, leafy salads, and delicious desserts.
Mundo Hot Springs resort is open for day use as well as for overnight stays. Clothing is required. The pool is accessible. There are bathrooms, changing rooms, and showers for visitors' convenience.
Besides an amazing soaking experience, this hot spring resort provides a comprehensive array of outdoor activities such as fishing, rafting, wildlife watching, hiking and biking along the 84-mile Weiser River Trail, as well as exploring the deepest river gorge of America - Hells Canyon.

Directions to Mundo Hot Springs
From Weiser,
- Take Highway US-95 and travel 29 miles northeast toward Cambridge
- Do not turn right onto US-95 in Cambridge but follow 0.3 miles straight on N Superior Street and then bear right onto Mill Road
- Go 1.8 miles on Mill Road, continue straight for 0.5 miles on Goodrich Road, and then turn sharp left to the resort.
