Heaven Hot Springs

• Haven Hot Springs is a small motel offering private bathing in the large hot pool
• Each motel room has an outdoor soaking tub

Located four miles east of Lowman, Haven Hot Springs is a geothermal developed site available for private soaks regardless of the season and weather. Built approximately in 1951, the 75 by 30 feet pool is positioned on the slope of a hill just above the highway. You can see part of the road and the South Fork Payette River from the soaking-swimming area, but rest assured – together with the scenic views, you get all the privacy and seclusion you need for the proper relaxation.

Geothermal Water

Water comes from the source above the pool at 148°F (64°C). It is alkaline, with a high silica concentration, resulting in a silky texture. The pool has three separate sections. One is a large swimming area with temperature maintained within the range of 95°F (35°C) to 97°F (36°C). The other two are smaller soaking areas with temperatures ranging from 100°F (38°C) to 105°F (41°C). A small amount of chlorine is added to protect against waterborne diseases.

Two options are available for those wishing to soak at Haven Hot Springs. You can reserve your private one-hour soak online in advance or book an overnight stay in one of the four motel rooms.

You can use private tubs only if you get a motel room reservation. The temperature in each tub is adjustable and ranges between 105°F (41°C) and 110°F (43°C). No chemicals are added.

The large pool is free for visitors with overnight motel bookings from 10 pm to 7 am (no reservation needed). For the rest of the day, the reservation would be available for half the price.

Accommodations and Amenities

There are four rooms in the motel, with one or two beds. Each has a backyard soaking tub.

You will have complimentary Wi-Fi, smart TV, a bath/shower, a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker inside the room. You can also rent a full-hookup RV spot or stay in the tent and car camping area.

The shop and café at the location sell regular convenience store items and serve a variety of meals.
