Zims Hot Springs is located 5 miles north of New Meadows on the bank of Little Salmon River in Central Idaho.
It sits in a scenic Meadow Valley surrounded by Idaho wilderness with stunning mountains and forests. The area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and hot spring lovers.
Geothermal mineral water comes out of the source at the rate of about ninety gallons per minute at a toasty 110° F (43° C). Then, it is cooled by river water and piped into the smaller soaking and larger swimming pools.
The small pool temperature is maintained at 100° - 105° F (38° - 41° C), and the large pool is at 90° - 100° F (32° - 38° C) year-round.
Zims Hot Springs has changing rooms, restrooms, a snack bar, and even arcades! You can rent towels, swimsuits, and storage bins to secure your belongings. You can also purchase swim diapers here.
Zims Hot Springs can be a fantastic base camp to enjoy the surrounding area. You can go hiking, fishing, skiing, or enjoy other hot springs nearby.
Camping & Lodging
When it comes to accommodations, you can stay at the Zims' RV park or the campground. The RV park has 12 spots with water and an electric hook-up. The campground has plenty of spots with picnic tables and canopies.
