• Miracle Hot Springs blends soothing geothermal waters with peaceful natural surroundings
Located 27 miles from Twin Falls, Miracle Hot Springs is an ideal destination to relax and experience the healing benefits of mineral water. A unique combination of geothermal activity and serene tranquility, this developed hot springs resort offers fantastic soaking opportunities away from the stress of everyday life. The resort features a swimming pool, soaking tubs, and private baths.
Not only do people enjoy the beneficial waters of Miracle Hot Springs—there’s also a resident “monster” living near the outdoor hot pools. A live alligator has its own geothermally heated pool, allowing it to survive the harsh Idaho winters. The area is securely fenced, so there’s no danger of the creature escaping.
While this is a developed location, services such as restaurants, stores, and gas stations are located outside the resort and require a short drive.
Miracle Hot Springs Experience
Hot mineral water flows from an artesian well at a natural temperature of 138°F. Before being pumped into the various pools and tubs, the water is cooled to 95°–100°F for the outdoor swimming pool and to 105°–110°F for the soaking pools. Temperatures are kept cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. All pools operate on a flow-through system and are drained every night, so no chemical treatment is necessary.
You can also enjoy the hot mineral water in one of the private rooms, where you control the temperature of your tub. Choose between standard and VIP rooms. Additional pools are available for both public and private use, allowing you to customize your soaking experience. Massage services are also offered, but advance reservations are required.
Beyond the Hot Springs: Other Adventures
Southwestern Idaho is renowned for its volcanic landscape and abundance of hot springs, ranging from popular resorts to remote, undeveloped soak areas. Banbury Hot Springs, just 1.5 miles away, and 1000 Springs Resort, 3.5 miles away, are both located along the scenic Snake River.
Among the wild hot springs are Prince Albert Hot Springs and Lower Indian Bathtub Hot Springs, both known for their rugged, natural settings.
If you are visiting the area, do not miss Balanced Rock — a dramatic 48-foot-tall formation weighing 40 tons, perched on a pedestal just 3 feet 17 inches wide. Balanced Rock Warm Springs is located nearby, though it is generally not suitable for soaking.
