Easley Hot Springs sits about 14 miles north of Ketchum and Sun Valley along Idaho State Highway 75 in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. Easley's main attractions are mountain views, a family‑friendly mineral pool, and a simple, low‑key vibe.

Here, you can soak with the backdrop of the Boulder Mountains and enjoy a ton of other outdoor adventures, including hiking, fishing, biking, skiing, and more.

Access is simple via fully paved Highway 75 near mile marker 142.4, with a short side road and on‑site parking.

Easley Hot Springs Water & Soaking

The mineral water at Easley Hot Springs comes from natural underground springs at about 98°F (37°C) and flows into pools and soaking tubs.

You can enjoy:

  • A large outdoor mineral pool kept at 85°F (29°C)
  • Two outdoor soaking tubs and a small indoor hot tub with jets, around the high 80s to low 90s°F.

The water in the soaking pools is primarily pure mineral water with very few chemicals. The swimming pool requires some maintenance to stay clean. Everyone must wear swimsuits.
Easley Hot Springs is open during the summer, usually from Memorial Day to Labor Day. They are often open every day except Mondays, but it's best to check before you go.

There is a pool deck with seating, restrooms, and changing areas. You can also visit a small store for snacks, drinks, ice cream, sunscreen, and swimsuit rentals.

Things to Do near Easley Hot Springs: Other Adventures

Easley Hot Springs is in the middle of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, so there are lots of fun things to do outside.

You can go hiking to alpine lakes and scenic viewpoints in the mountains, ride your bike on the Harriman Trail or around Ketchum and Sun Valley, and go fishing in the Big Wood River or nearby creeks. About 16 miles away is Sun Valley Resort, where you can ski, ride lifts, or go mountain biking. In the winter, there are groomed trails north of Ketchum for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing.

Easley Hot Springs Camping and Lodging

While Easley Hot Springs is a day‑use only spot, there is plenty of camping and lodging nearby.

Easley Campground (about 1 mile away) has eight single and two double sites on a first-come, first-served basis from May to September.

For a more comfortable stay, book Mountain Village Lodge in Stanley, about 47 miles north, or one of the hotels in Ketchum, 15 miles south.
