• Quinn's Hot Springs Resort is a developed resort in the Clark Fork River canyon
• An outdoor pool complex includes seven adjoining pools with varying temperatures

Quinn's Hot Springs Resort is a picturesque getaway located in the canyon of the Clark Fork River near Paradise, Montana. The resort is named after Martin Quinn, an Irish immigrant and miner who discovered the hot springs in the early 1880s while transporting mining supplies along the river.

After noticing Native Americans camping near the steaming waters, Quinn explored the area further and filed a homestead on the site. Within a few years, he built a residence, bathhouses, and sleeping cabins, laying the foundation for the resort enjoyed today.

The resort is a popular family recreation destination, offering relaxation in a large adjoining soaking and swimming pool complex. The pools vary in temperature and feature a waterfall. Guests enjoy the restorative mineral water, comfortable lodging, fine dining, and a variety of recreational activities in Western Montana.

Quinn's Hot Springs Water & Soaking

The main attraction at Quinn’s Hot Springs Resort is soaking in natural geothermal mineral water. The hot spring water comes from two wells, approximately 400 feet and 160 feet deep, with a source temperature of about 127°F (53°C). It is mixed with cold water and circulated into multiple pools throughout the complex.

The resort features seven pools in total, five filled with mineral water and two non-mineral, salt-treated pools. The non-mineral pools include a large swimming pool with a maximum depth of about 5 feet, open to guests ages three and older, and a smaller pool open to all ages. Temperatures in these pools are maintained between 90°F and 100°F (32°C to 38°C).

The mineral water pools range in temperature from approximately 100°F to 106°F (38°C to 41°C), and a cold plunge is maintained at about 55°F (13°C). Depending on the pool, age requirements range from 5+ to 14+. The mineral pools have a light sulfur odor, typical of natural geothermal waters.

Adults aged 18 and older may use the pools from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., with kid-free soaking available from 7 to 8 a.m. and from 10 to 11 p.m. Children are welcome from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Day-use guests can reserve pool access in four-hour sessions.
