• Quinn's Hot Springs Resort is a developed resort in the Clark Fork River canyon
• An outdoor pool complex includes seven adjoining pools with varying temperatures

Quinn's Hot Springs Resort is a picturesque getaway located in the canyon of the Clark Fork River near Paradise, Montana. The resort is named after Martin Quinn, an Irish immigrant and miner who discovered the hot springs in the early 1880s while transporting mining materials along the Clark Fork River.

Observing Native Americans camping near the steaming waters, Quinn explored further and filed a homestead on this site. A few years later, he built a residence, bathhouses, and sleeping cabins, laying the foundation for the resort we enjoy today.

The resort is a great family recreation spot, offering relaxation in a large adjoining soaking and swimming pool complex with pools of varying temperatures and a waterfall. Guests enjoy a dip in the restorative water, along with comfortable lodging, fine dining, and various recreational activities in Western Montana.

Geothermal Water & Soaking

The main attraction of Quinn's Hot Springs Resort is the natural geothermal mineral waters soaking. The hot spring water comes from two wells (400 ft and 160 ft deep) at 127° F (53° C). It is then mixed with cold water and pumped into multiple pools.

The resort has seven pools in total, five of which contain mineral water and two with non-mineral, salt-treated water.

The non-mineral pools are a large swimming pool with a maximum depth of 4' 14'', open for ages 3+ and a small pool for all ages. The temperature in these pools is maintained between 90° F and 100° F (32° C - 38° C).

Mineral water pools have temperatures ranging from 100° F to 106° F (38° C - 41° C). The cold plunge is maintained at 55° F (13° C). Depending on the specific pool, it is open to ages 5+ to 14+. The mineral pools have a light sulfur odor.

Adults (18+) can enjoy the pools from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., with kid-free soaking from 7-8 a.m. and 10-11 p.m. Children's hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Day-use guests can reserve pools in 4-hour sessions.
