Lolo Hot Springs Lodge is a rustic soaking spot near the Idaho-Montana border, 36 miles southwest of Missoula.
Lewis and Clark described the Lolo Hot Springs in 1805 during one of their expeditions. However, Native Americans used the springs way before the first Europeans arrived.
The first health resort was built on the springs in the 1880s. Since then, two hot spring resorts have been constructed here - The Lodge at Lolo Hot Springs and Lolo Hot Springs Resort.
Lolo is a fantastic place to enjoy the healing mineral water and explore the surrounding area year-round.
Geothermal Water & Soaking
The geothermal mineral water comes from the source into the indoor grottos.
There are 2 indoor soaking pools, each 20 ft by 6 ft and 4 ft deep. The temperature at both pools is 105° F (41° C).
Soaking is available to overnight guests only. No day-use.
This is a developed location, so swimming suits are mandatory.
