Yellowstone Hot Springs

• Yellowstone Hot Springs Resort is the newest hot spring destination near Yellowstone National Park.

Yellowstone Hot Springs, located just 47 miles southwest of Livingston on the northern edge of Yellowstone National Park, is a geothermal mineral water paradise.

The first bathhouse was built near the springs in the 1900s. Between 1922 and 1940, this area was home to the Eagle's Nest Dude Ranch, a vibrant retreat that featured a western-themed clubhouse, dance hall, nine-hole golf course, restaurant, and an open-air plunge. Today, while the ranch is gone, the remnants of the original plunge remain.

In January 2018, construction began on the current resort, making it one of the newest hot spring destinations in the state. Yellowstone Hot Springs offers both day-use and overnight stays, allowing visitors to experience the beauty of this geothermal wonder near one of America's most iconic national parks.

Geothermal Water & Soaking

Geothermal mineral water emerges from the source at 154ºF  and is distributed across two outdoor pools and a plunge. The hot soaking pool is maintained at a comfortable 103ºF - 105ºF, while the main swimming pool, measuring 3,750 square feet, offers slightly cooler temperatures between 98ºF to 100ºF. For those seeking a refreshing contrast, the cold plunge ranges from 60ºF to 65ºF.

Additionally, for extra foot comfort, you can enjoy the Kneipp pools, which alternate between hot and cold water for a soothing experience.

All pools at the resort are flow-through, ensuring no chemicals are added to the water. As Yellowstone is a developed, family-friendly destination, clothing is required at all times.
