Banbury Hot Springs is a great destination for all hot mineral water lovers
Features a large swimming pool and private tubs

Sitting on the banks of the Snake River, 27 miles from Twin Falls and 11 miles northwest of Buhl, Banbury Hot Springs offers year‑round soaking in mineral‑rich geothermal water with a large heated swimming pool, reservable private tubs, and easy river access for paddling to Blue Heart Springs.

Miracle Hot Springs is located 1.5 miles away.

Banbury Hot Springs Geothermal Experience

The artesian hot spring emerges at 138°F and is blended with cool spring water from the Snake River aquifer before flowing into the big 120 × 60 ft pool and private soaking baths. Depending on the season, the pool typically sits around 89–95°F, perfect for family‑friendly swims and relaxed laps. A diving board at the deep end adds a splash of fun.

For a more intimate soak, five enclosed private baths let you fine‑tune the temperature to your liking. These tubs are filled with fresh mineral water and drained and cleaned after each session, with no chemical treatment needed in the private rooms.

Beyond Hot Springs: Snake River Paddling and Blue Heart Springs

Amenities here include a snack bar, shaded picnic areas, restrooms/changing areas, a boat ramp, and on‑site rentals for kayaks, tandems, and paddleboards. Expect sunny summer days and crisp, starry nights, so bring layers and hydration if you’re spending time by the river.

Here are some of the pastimes you can enjoy:

  • Paddle to Blue Heart Springs: About 1.5 miles each way from Banbury’s ramp. This spring‑fed lagoon is famed for its bright blue, ultra‑clear water and cool temps - a perfect contrast after a hot soak.
  • Wildlife and views: Watch for herons, eagles, and waterfowl along the Snake; sunrise and sunset paddles are especially scenic.

Tips for the river: Check wind forecasts, wear a PFD, secure a dry bag, and bring sun protection. Water shoes help for rocky shore entries.

Hungry? Pack a picnic or simple cooler setup. Twin Falls has full services, groceries, and restaurants; Buhl has closer basic options. Always bring extra drinking water for post‑soak rehydration.

Banbury Hot Springs Camping and Lodging

Stay steps from the water with RV and tent camping.

  • Tent sites: Grassy, simple campsites with access to soaking.
