• Stewart Mineral Springs is a peaceful retreat in the scenic foothills of Mount Shasta
• Mineral water is drawn from a well and heated before filling the private soaking tubs
Stewart Mineral Springs, part of the Pneuma Retreat Center, is nestled in the foothills of Mount Shasta at an elevation of 3,900 feet. Here, guests can bathe in natural hot mineral water and enjoy a full range of services designed for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The mineral water is drawn from a well, heated, and then pumped into thirteen private bathtubs located in individual rooms. Because bathing is private, clothing is optional, and guests are provided with large sheets to wear in public areas. The water is not chemically treated—each tub is drained and cleaned after every use.
After a soak, guests can unwind on the spacious deck overlooking Parks Creek, or take a refreshing plunge in the creek itself. Additional offerings include spa treatments, massage services, and sweat lodge ceremonies, all available by appointment.
Please note: the retreat is a smoke-free, alcohol-free, and drug-free zone. Pets are not allowed, though service dogs are welcome.
Stewart Mineral Springs is ideally located for exploring nearby Mount Shasta, Lake Shastina, and the surrounding area. Outdoor activities include hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, and nature viewing year-round.
Stewart Mineral Springs Accommodations
Accommodations at the retreat include cozy cabins, apartments, and standard rooms. Guests may also reserve the facility for special events and enjoy meals at the on-site restaurant.
