The hot mineral water pumped from the well and then heated to a higher temperature

Stewart Mineral Springs is a part of Pneuma Retreat Center situated in the foothills of Mount Shasta at an elevation of 3,900 feet. Here you can not only bath in hot mineral water but also experience a full range of services and amenities for your relaxation and enjoyment.

The mineral water comes from the well and gets heated to a higher temperature. Afterward, it is pumped to each of the thirteen private bathtubs located in separate rooms. Since bathing is private, clothing is optional and visitors are provided with large sheets to cover up in public areas. No chemical treatment of water is used since bathtubs are drained and cleaned after each visitor.

Bathers can relax on the large deck outside and enjoy the view of Parks Creek. If you enjoy a cold plunge after the hot mineral water, you can jump into the creek. The retreat center offers a wide range of spa and massage services as well as sweat lodge ceremonies. All of those extra services are available by appointment only.

Pneuma Retreat Center features a variety of accommodations including cabins, apartments, and standard rooms. The retreat's visitors have an opportunity to book the facility for their events as well as to enjoy the cuisine in the center's restaurant.

Please keep in mind that the retreat center is alcohol, drugs, and tobacco-free zone. No pets are allowed, only service dogs.

The retreat allows easy access to Mount Shasta and Lake Shastina and all of the corresponding outdoor activities including, but not limited to hiking, mountain biking, swimming, picnicking, nature viewing, skiing, and much more.

  1. The bathhouse does not open now. Maybe because of pandemic.

  2. How many weeks of notice would a group of 8-10 ladies need to book in advance?
