Private Mineral Hot Springs and Organic Farm is a unique secluded spot where you can truly enjoy the peace and serenity of Southern California. It is located a few miles northeast of the Salton Sea at the foot of the rugged Chocolate Mountains. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city to clean your mind, enjoy delicious organic fruits, and soak under the palm trees!
Geothermal mineral water flows out of the well at 124°F and can be adjusted to whatever temperature you desire. There are two pools on the property - the main soaking pool (big rock-lined) and an auxiliary pool (smaller in size, located nearby). Mineral water is not treated with any chemicals and has nearly no odor. Clothing is optional.
This rural location also doubles as an organic farm for six types of organic dates - medjool, barhi, khadrawi, halawi, khalas, and zahidi. Other fruits grown here are mango, Jamaican plum, and temple orange. The harvest season starts in early July and lasts until late September. Refrigerated fruits, however, keep very well for over a year.
To use the soaking pools, you must book an overnight stay. The accommodation is limited to one group of no more than 4 people. The location is not suited for pets or children.
The host doesn't allow alcohol, tobacco products, vapes, and drugs of any kind on the premises. Likewise, no food or glass is allowed near the pools.
The business is open from September 21 to May 31. It is closed in summer due to the extreme Southern California heat.
