Tuscan Springs Hotel & Spa is one of the excellent locations to relax and enjoy the hot mineral water of the city of Desert Hot Springs. This luxurious boutique hotel is located 10 miles north of Palm Springs and 30 miles west of Joshua Tree National Park that lets you enjoy other adventures in the southeastern California oasis in addition to your rejuvenating bathing.

Native Americans had used the local hot springs water for hundreds of years. In 1914, homesteader Cabot Yerxa dug two wells and found hot mineral water in the first well and cold drinking water about 600 yards away. Cabot named this land “Miracle Hill”. Two underground lakes of Miracle Hills - cold and hot ones are found in separated aquifers, but they are located near each other.

Inspired by the Italian culture, the hotel & spa features an outdoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, and indoor Jacuzzi that looks like a Roman Bath. Mineral water is pumped to the pools from aquifers through a 350-f00t well at a temperature of 117°F.

The Tuscan Springs Hotel has 16 rooms, provides a complimentary expanded continental breakfast, and can accommodate individuals over 21 years of age. The hotel's building combines elements of classic Mediterranean House design that is oriented around central courtyards. The spa offers massages, body treatments, and facials. A day-use option is available.
