Wellspring Spa & Retreat | Central Washington

Wellspring Spa & Retreat is an outdoor private sanctuary and secluded getaway destination hidden deep in the dense wood at the foot of Mount Rainier. This site offers a moment of tranquil calm for those who seek a pleasurable outdoor destination away from daily stressful situations.

Wellspring is not geothermal hot springs but visitors can take a hot bath in one of two cedar hot tubs, one of them is in a Japanese Garden, another near a pond. Spring water that piped into the hot tubs is heated by propane and treated with bromine. There are enclosed buildings of spas near each hot tub with a wood-fired cedar sauna, shower, massage room, and bathroom facilities. So, along with soaking visitors can sweat in the sauna or order a massage session.

A one-mile-long meditation trail lets you connect with nature, relieve stress and anxiety, and relax the body and mind.

Wellsprings Spa offers different types of cozy accommodations including customized log and camper cabins, lodge rooms, a cottage, and even a treehouse.

This site is largely not for an active outdoor adventure or the thrilling hikers, but for those looking for peaceful solitude, and a moment of quiet contemplation without any distraction.

If you prefer more adventurous activities like hiking, climbing, snowboarding, and skiing, visit Mount Rainer National Park. The southwest Nisqually Entrance of the park is located 3.5 miles east of Wellsprings Retreat.
